Ash KarintikalLicensed Physical Therapist Assistant, Licensed Massage Therapist, and Certified Personal Trainer
I have been in the health and fitness industry for over a decade helping various age groups, from pediatrics to geriatrics, in achieving their fitness goals. During that time I’ve attained numerous certifications and continuing education courses, specializing in injury prevention, rehabilitation, functional training, and strength endurance. Working as a personal trainer I have seen the effects of exercise on the human body and this desire led me to pursue a degree in physical therapy. As a Licensed Physical Therapist Assistant, I have treated orthopedic populations with various musculoskeletal injuries including low back pain, sciatica, shoulder injuries, joint replacements, and other conditions.
My experience as a clinical physical therapist enabled me to have extensive knowledge of human anatomy and treatment interventions for different diagnoses. The assessments I perform are very thorough, where I focus on the underlying problems, and correcting movement patterns. Based off the assessments, I develop a treatment for our individual needs. Sessions include massage and bodwork, graston (gua sha), cupping, and other manual therapy to help increase mobility from and improve alignment. Corrective exercise strategies are suggested to help alleviate symptoms.
My goal is help clients decrease pain, increase mobility, and improve functional movements. I look forward to meeting you.
