The state of the Lymphatic system could be said to the synonymous with the state of one’s health. The lymph system transports white blood cells throughout the body which play a large part in fighting infections and is also responsible for the removal and detoxification of waste products. Sometimes the lymphatic system, which has no pump of its own, can become blocked, causing lymphatic fluid to become stagnant and swelling to occur. This is called Lymphedema. Lymphatic activation is thought to stimulate the lymphatic system, boost immunity, assist the body in detoxifying the blood, tissues, and the intestine, and promotes the overall circulation of the lymphatic system.
